Youth Pizza Jams are open to youth ages 13 - 17. Workshop includes pizza and soda. Cost is $40 per Jam. No experience necessary. Students participate in a variety of theatre and improvisation games in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

SUMMER YOUTH IMPROV PROGRAM

Our improv camps for youth focus on creating a fun and safe environment for all participants to explore their own creativity and the art of improv. These classes are a great opportunity for students that want to learn improvisation while meeting new friends. The camps end with a show for family and friends. The one week and two week camps range from $150-275. Break it down hour by hour, and it is cheaper than daycare...and they have fun!

ABOUT BNI YOUTH IMPROVISATION & SKETCH COMEDY PROGRAMS (Assisted in part by the Jerome S. and Grace H. Murray Foundation) We participate in the Hennepin County Campership Fund Program. If you are involved with approved Hennepin County programs, you may be eligible to have part of your tuition covered to one of our youth programs via the Campership Fund. Check with your social worker. The BNI Teen Performance Team ... is our advanced program for teens who have participated in other BNI programs. The Teen Troupe meets weekly throughout the year (currently on Sundays) and typically performs once or more a month. This troupe works independently with their director to establish their own goals, and create their own performance style. BNI Teen Performance Troupes in the past have created and performed sketch comedy shows for the Minnesota Fringe Festival, have attended improv festivals in Chicago, and have created their own improvisation structures. We recommend that interested teens first participate in other BNI programs to test their interest in improvisation. You must audition in order to be considered for the Teen Troupe.
